30 New Mosques under Construction in UAE’s Sharjah

IQNA – An official urged speeding up the construction of 30 mosques in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates, as the holy month of Ramadan approaches.

Head of the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah visits an under-construction mosque

 

Abdullah Khalifa Yaroof Al Sabousi, head of the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah, visited a number of under-construction mosques in the emirate, according to a report.

During the visit, he ordered expediting the construction process so that they could be ready to host worshippers in Ramadan.

He said the ruler of Sharjah provides the necessary support for the projects.

Al Sabousi added that the Department of Islamic Affairs will make sure that the welfare of worshippers is guaranteed before allowing the launch of the new mosques.

He also noted that the mosques are being built with new architectural designs and equipped with new facilities and services.

The official talked with the contractors and consultants and learned about the latest status of the progress of the projects.
